Byelaws
Notice is hereby given that the Axe Brue, Parrett & North Somerset Levels Internal Drainage Boards intend to apply, at the expiration of one calendar month from the date of this notice, to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for the confirmation of byelaws made by the Council for the purpose of preventing flooding or remedying any damage caused by flooding in their area. During a period of one calendar month from the date of publication of this notice, a copy of the said byelaws will be kept at the office of the Axe Brue, Parrett & North Somerset Levels Internal Drainage Boards and will be open to public inspection, on any weekday during normal office hours. During the same period printed copies of the byelaws will be supplied on demand (free of charge) to any person on application to the Axe Brue, Parrett & North Somerset Levels Internal Drainage Boards. Any objection to the confirmation of the byelaws should be made in writing and addressed to the Axe Brue, Parrett & North Somerset Levels Internal Drainage Boards at Bradbury House, 33-34 Market Street, Highbridge, Somerset, TA9 3BW, within six weeks of the date of publication of this notice.
